Sara Lovas is an artist / sculptor / curator / arts administrator who lives and works in Dallas, TX.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University in Communications with minors in Drawing and Philosophy. Following graduation she studied art history, sculpture, metalsmithing, welding and casting at the University of North Texas, Denton, TX, Brookhaven Community College, Dallas, TX, and the Creative Arts Center, Dallas, TX.
In 2003 she moved to New York City where she obtained a post-graduate certificate in Arts Administration from New York University and worked/welded at the Educational Alliance. She returned to Dallas in 2008 to work at the Kimbell Art Museum and is currently Senior Graphic Designer at the AT&T Performing Arts Center and Sara Lovas Creative.
